Welcome Welcome to the 3030MUX Training page. We realize that it is hard to get started right off the bat at 3030MUX. It seems confusing and impossible to learn -- we guarantee that it is not impossible. With this set of pages including instructions on many key things, it will be much easier to get going. This is for beginning players; after you have learned the material here, you will learn more on your own or from other players on the game. To get started, just start reading the lessons. They are split up into several major sections:
There is also a Glossary and several appendices. Links to everything on the web page are always on the left side of the screen. Reading the Training Pages Here is the meaning of the formatting you will see in the training sections: Anything that is in bold is a command that can be performed when connected to the MUX. Anything that is in CAPITALS is a term that you should probably remember. Some are links to a glossary definition. When you see something in <less than and greater than> signs, you put in the appropriate thing when you type that command. For example, if the instructions say to type: say <message>, you could type: say Hello everyone! The "Table of Contents" on the left side of the screen will always be there, so you can skip from section to section.
