Most NEWBIES come into 3030MUX with a few preconceptions about what it is. Unfortunately, they are rarely correct. Here is a listing about what 3030MUX is and what 3030MUX is not.
What 3030MUX IS:

- Absolutely free - no costs at all except your time.
- Run by volunteers who put heart, soul, and life into the game.
- Constantly improving.
- Always looking for new players.
- A place for realtime combat with other players.
- A place with a steep learning curve, but people to help you.
- A place where roleplaying is encouraged.
What 3030MUX IS NOT:
- Looking for people who want to ruin the game for others.
- Something you can learn in five minutes.
- A place where you make a character and expect to fight in five minutes.
