7. ARC OF FIRE

Your unit has a facing. This facing determines your 'Arcs of Fire'

The forward arc and rear arc is 120 degrees wide, while the left and right arcs are 60 degrees wide.

A turret arc (on tanks for instance) cover an area +/- 60 degrees of the turret's current heading.

o Forward Weapons Arc

Legs, Torso, Arm, and Head located weapons can fire into this arc.

Units whom are in your Forward Weapons Arc have a '*' before their unit ID on the contacts list.

o Rear Weapons Arc

A Torso weapon (be it Center, Right or Left) with a 'R' after its location can fire into this arc alone.

o Left Arm Arc

This arc can only be used by weapons located in your left arm. Punching with your left arm also uses this arc. All arm weapons (punches included) also can be used in the Forward Weapons Arc.

Units whom are in your Left Arm Arc have a 'l' before their unit ID on the contact list.

o Right Arm Arc

This arc can only be used by weapons located in your right arm. Punching with your right arm also uses this arc. All arm weapons (punches included) also can be used in the Forward Weapons Arc.
