1. Once you have connected to the MUX, you will be presented with an opening screen. There are several different screens, but they all perform the same function. One of them looks like this:
First think of a name for your character. You can change it later if you don't like it. Don't put a space in the name for now. You will also need a password. Keep the password and name somewhere safe! Now, let's create a character! Type: You will see a bunch of text. Read it all. It contains instructions on what to do next. When you reach a point that asks "If you are new to MUXes..." then type NEW TO MU This will take you through a short tutorial that will teach you some very important commands that you should know.
