In the beginning... Part 1

Good! You've decided to learn more about 3030MUX! 3030 is a collection of players who enjoy the game BattleTech, © Fasa. The game was actually created by a group of crazy WIZARDS who have too much time on their hands to spend on rediculous projects such as this one.

1. The very first thing you need to connect to 3030MUX is a telnet client. Chances are, you got one with your computer. Try connecting through your web browser. If this does not work, you will be able to find a telnet program for your computer through any popular search engine such as Google. You can also look at a shareware archive such as Shareware.com.

2. If you had to find a telnet client, you will find instructions on how to use it in the documentation that came with it. The address for 3030MUX is: btech.dhs.org port 3030.

Great! Now you can go on to the next section of the lesson!
